DALLAS, Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- UWorld, a global leader in comprehensive academic and professional education, has been named a winner in the 2026 Newsweek Readers' Choice™ Awards, earning the honor for Best Test Prep.

The Newsweek award comes as UWorld celebrates its 25th anniversary. Since 2001, UWorld has grown from offering case-based learning questions for the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE^®) to a comprehensive education technology company that has served more than 5 million learners.

The recognition highlights a cornerstone of UWorld's business while reflecting a mission that extends well beyond test preparation. From curriculum solutions and assessments to test preparation products and continuing education courses, the company drives meaningful learning outcomes and empowers learners to succeed at every stage of their academic and professional careers.

Newsweek editors and panelists selected UWorld in July as one of this year's nominees. Newsweek readers then voted for four weeks to determine the winners.

"Being recognized by Newsweek readers during our 25th anniversary year is especially meaningful because everything we do starts with the learners we serve," said UWorld Chief Operating Officer Jeffrey A. Elliott. "We're grateful to everyone who voted for us, the millions of learners who have trusted us and the incredible people here who build, deliver and support our products. This award celebrates how far we've come and inspires us to keep raising the standard for the learners who come next."

The 2026 Newsweek Readers' Choice Award adds another consumer-backed distinction to the company's history and recognizes its continued focus on helping learners build the knowledge, confidence and skills they need for high-stakes exams and the opportunities that follow.
