TVO Welcomes Ron Ahluwalia as Vice President, Strategy

TORONTO, Aug. 24, 2026 /CNW/ -- TVO Media Education Group (TVO) has announced Ron Ahluwalia is joining the organization as Vice President, Strategy, reporting to CEO Pary Bell and serving as a member of TVO's Executive Leadership Team.
In this role, Mr. Ahluwalia will help shape TVO's organizational strategy, planning and governance in support of its mandate to inspire learning that changes lives and enriches communities. He will work closely with the CEO, Board and Executive Leadership Team, leading enterprise-wide strategy, annual planning, government reporting, and executive governance processes, helping translate TVO's public mandate and leadership priorities into clear plans, disciplined execution, and measurable progress.

Mr. Ahluwalia joins TVO with more than 15 years of experience spanning policy, communications, legislation, law, government and governance. His career includes senior roles across the federal and Ontario governments and Ontario's regulatory sector, including serving as Director of Policy to the Minister of Canadian Heritage, where he led files related to broadcasting, online safety for children and the CBC.
Mr. Ahluwalia will assume his role effective August 24, 2026.
