St. Croix Garage Doors sponsored the 21st Annual Chili Fest organized by the Baldwin-Woodville Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau. The event was held on September 26 at South Steven Park in Woodville and included chili, music, football, and family activities. The sponsorship places the company among local organizations supporting a long-running community gathering in one of the areas it serves.
The family-owned business operates from locations in Woodville and Chippewa Falls and provides residential and commercial garage door repair, installation, opener service, and planned maintenance. Coverage extends across Northwestern Wisconsin and portions of eastern Minnesota. Sponsorship of the Chili Fest aligns with the company’s presence in Woodville, where technicians complete service calls for homes, businesses, and agricultural properties throughout the year.
Tracy Crowley, a Financial Assistant at St. Croix Garage Doors, described the decision to support the event. “We’re proud to sponsor Chili Fest because it’s a great way to spend time with our neighbors and support our community,” said Crowley. “We work with families and businesses in this area every day, and we enjoy being part of local events like this.”
Residential services include repair of broken torsion springs, worn or snapped cables, misaligned safety sensors, noisy operation caused by dry rollers or loose hardware, and doors that have come off their tracks. The company installs new residential garage doors in insulated steel and woodgrain finishes and provides garage door openers in chain-drive, belt-drive, and other configurations. Commercial work covers high-cycle overhead doors, rolling steel systems, and heavy-duty openers used by warehouses, auto shops, and loading docks.
Agricultural services include overhead doors for machine sheds and barns, rolling steel doors for storage buildings, sectional doors selected for insulation needs, and high-speed doors for operations that require rapid access with reduced energy loss.
Jess Harder, on the Warehouse and Operations team, noted that local engagement supports the company’s operations. “We love great food and great people, so Chili Fest is a perfect fit for us,” he said. "It's also a chance for us to tell our story and let people know how we can help with their garage door needs.”
Planned maintenance programs involve inspection of spring tension, cable condition, door balance, opener settings, and safety features. These visits identify developing issues before they result in a door that will not open or close. The company also supplies specialty products that include high-speed doors, car wash doors, and mini storage doors for commercial and industrial applications involving frequent cycling or exposure to moisture and debris.
Service is delivered from the Woodville location and the Chippewa Falls site, which operates from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The territory includes Wisconsin counties such as Barron, Buffalo, Chippewa, Clark, Dunn, Eau Claire, Jackson, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, Rusk, St. Croix, Taylor, and Trempealeau, along with Minnesota counties including Dakota, Washington, Goodhue, Chisago, Isanti, and Anoka. The company is currently hiring for installation and service technician positions that involve residential and commercial garage door work.
