League City company becomes Southern's second location in the Houston market

LEAGUE CITY, Texas, Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Southern Home Services today announced it has acquired Vanderford Air and Plumbing of League City, Texas. The transaction closed November 2, 2026, and is Southern's second location in the Houston designated market area (DMA).

Vanderford joins Nick's Plumbing & Air Conditioning, which Southern acquired in October 2025. Together, the two companies expand Southern's capacity to serve Houston-area homeowners with heating, air conditioning and plumbing services.
